Job Description: SE is looking to revamp its current BI and reporting architecture to a more robust solution combining the power of different actual technologies. You will work in a small BeNe team of 3 people and on a regular basis with international stakeholders of the Schneider Electric Bi Teams to achieve the best solution possible for the BeNe organization. You will collect business requirements by working with the main business stakeholders in Belgium and the Netherlands

Your main mission as Data Scientist will be twofold:

Supporting the ongoing revamping project in a ‘consultant’ mode.

• The objective is that you actively contribute and work together with the data architect in setting up the target platform with your knowledge on how to collect, analyze and interpret data to help drive decision-making mindset in the organization. Our Data is mainly coming from SAP and Salesforce. The target platform will make use of Amazon Redshift Schneider Electric corporate data sources combined with local datasets.

Create meaningful reports to drive data decision-making across the organization.

• Assist in the maintenance of the BI platform front end applications (Tableau, power pivot, power BI or similar tools)
• Identify potential AI opportunities and BI improvements to uplift user satisfaction and enhance the performance of the business tools.
• Focus on the front-end side, supporting the business users with the development of new reports or analysis to support commercial growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver BI front-end components from requirement analysis to implementation based on Tableau, Power BI or other reporting and AI and machine learning tools standardized in the Schneider Ecosystem.
• Collaborate with data architect to improve the data model.
• Propose improvements in data driven decision making process.
• Create test scenarios in collaboration with the end-users
• Support business customers’ needs in a timely and efficient manner demonstrating a sense of urgency, tenacity, and commitment to quality and excellence.

• Work in close collaboration with business key users to understand the business requirements.
• translate business requirements into solutions & applications.
• you will report to the Schneider Electric BeNe BI and CRM manager.

Qualifications:

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in information technology, applied computer sciences or equivalent by experience.
• You have 1 to 5 years professional experience
• You have a sincere and proven interest in mainly report development for data driven decision making, Business Intelligence, AI, machine learning and Data Warehousing
• You have high interest in understanding business and performance drivers of a B2B commercial organization
• You have good communication skills, written and verbally.
• You demonstrate analytical thinking/reasoning, broad view and spirit of synthesis
• You are a quick learner of new tools and technologies
• You are customer oriented, result driven, pragmatic, positive & focused on delivering quality
• You are a team player with a collaborative spirit
• You are fluent in English and either Dutch or French

Additional Requirements:

• Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, SQL, AI and machine learning technologies (Python, R)
• Knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, ETL or other BI reporting Tools is a plus
• You can work both as part of a team and independently
• You are self-motivated & proactive
