About the job
As a Middle Officer, you will be a member of the trade support team, reporting to the Head of Finance. During your time at OTC Flow, you will be responsible for providing operational support to the trading desk.
Main Responsibilities
- Chase clients for payments and deliveries and work to resolve any issues that arise in relation to outstanding deliveries and invoices;
- Provide trade support to the trading desk, including trade entry, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation;
- Manage and maintain trade-related data in trading systems and databases;
- Monitor trade flows, and identify and escalate any anomalies or potential risks;
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required;
- Liaise with various internal teams, including operations, compliance, and risk management, to resolve trade-related issues and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field;
- Experience in trade support or a similar role in a financial institution is a plus;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external counterparties;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
