As an Occupational Hygienist you will support the delivery health and safety service solutions to a variety of clients by: Undertaking HAZMAT assessments and inspecting and auditing commercial and residential sites Developing, implementing and reviewing environmental management and occupational health and safety plans Advising and enforcing legislation and implementing prevention programs and strategies for hazardous substances to minimise air, sea, water and noise pollution Promoting ergonomic principles within the workplace and identifying and controlling hazards and risks Providing quotations for Occupation Hygiene and answering inquiries You may be ideal for this role if you: Are a member of the New Zealand Occupational Hygiene Society and/or HASANZ Have a comprehensive understanding of ISO9001 or ISO17025 or ISO17020 guidelines Have extensive knowledge and understanding of asbestos and (HAZMAT) surveying and management Have experience in supervising, coaching and motivating staff Have a high level of interpersonal and communication skills If you are interested in this position, please APPLY NOW!
