Job Description

Te Papa stands proud as an iconic national building housing the treasures of the nation and is a vibrant destination for both national and international visitors.

We are looking for a customer focused Supervisor to work in our busy 7 day week café. The Café averages over 600 customers per day and would suit someone who has previous work experience in large hospitality venues.

It is an advantage if you have had previous supervisory experience in a busy/customer focused environment and are able to work both weekend days and public holidays. This role reports to our Food and Beverage Retail Manager.

The starting range for this position is $54,000 to $60,000 pa. Offers will be made within the range to reflect the skills and experience offered by the candidate, those required of the role, and internal relativities with other employees.

You will be rostered 40 hours over a 7-day week. Flexibility and adaptability will be key to your success as we operate 364 days a year and will require you to be able to work across a variety of locations, days and times. This is a permanent role and applicants must have the ability to obtain and maintain the legal right to work in New Zealand.
