Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu (Te Kura) is New Zealand's largest school with a roll of up to 24,000 ākonga (students) at any point of time. Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this position:

We invite applications from NZ Registered Teachers (Kaiako) keen to work as a Relief Teacher in one of our Central South Regional Offices on an as required basis. In this role you'll provide cover for our teaching staff (Kaiako) and receive supported training ahead of your first Relief Teaching Day.

We are currently seeking Relief Teachers across all levels of the NZ Curriculum, and in particular are keen to hear from Kaiako with specialisations in the following subjects: Te Reo - English - Mathematics and Statistics – Mathematics – Science – Biology - Digital Technology - Primary/Year 7-10, and Learning Support.

You're enthusiastic, collaborative, understand the key competencies of the New Zealand curriculum assessment practice and are committed to improving education outcomes for students, while thriving in an online environment.
