Job Posting End Date March 19, 2023 Job Location Wellington Job Description Short Description Fantastic entry level Customer Communications and Engagement Administrator opportunity for a flexible and enthusiastic individual to support the Wellington Transport Alliance (WTA).

The WTA is a partnership between Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, Fulton Hogan and WSP. The WTA is responsible for managing the maintenance and operations programme for the state highways and roading networks of the Greater Wellington Region, and for delivering high service standards to the people and roading network of the region. The opportunity We are looking for a person who is interested in joining a collaborative, high-performing Alliance environment and contributing to our success through supporting the administrative needs of the Communications and Engagement Team. The role is responsible for managing and responding to customer questions, queries and complaints, reporting on common trends to support improvements and undertaking administrative tasks including document management and note and minute taking. There is the opportunity to support the wider Communications and Engagement team to develop experience in this area. About you You will need a high level of initiative, flexibility and a willingness to undertake a wide range of administration activities that help make the Alliance a great place to work. You will have with the ability to cope under pressure and manage multiple work demands. You will be comfortable building relationships across the organisation. You will also have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good document management experience
  • Able to work effectively and competently with people at all levels; within and external to the Alliance
  • Able to influence change and drive improvement initiatives in a team
  • Current Drivers’ License (preferable)
  • Basic understanding of Road construction techniques and methodologies (preferred)
  • Understanding of Te Ao Māori (preferable)
