About the role:



The Business Coordinator, Risk and Verification (R&V) Central Team, INZ (Immigration New Zealand) is a position that will provide efficient and effective administrative and workflow management support services to the onshore and offshore R&V network including other specialist teams and their managers in INZ and the Ministry.



The R&V Central Team is responsible for supporting the wider R&V network to ensure a consistency in service provision and practises. The team consists of Business Analysts and Advisors, Technical Specialists and the Practice Lead.



You will be required to assist the the team in administration related tasks and be able to provide efficient support in ensuring the smooth running of R&V’s service provision.



You will also assist the team and wider R&V in organising and facilitating workloads and ensuring the business as a whole is responsive in its timeliness to senior leadership.

Skills and experience required:


  • You have a proven track record of experience and achievement in providing personal and administrative support to managers and teams
  • You possess wide ranging knowledge of administration systems and processes
  • You are proactive, agile and ability to use your initiative
  • Sound relationship management skills required
  • Good standard of computer literacy and word processing
  • You can work effectively in a team environment and to prioritise work to achieve MBIE outcomes
  • A willingness to work in a flexible and dynamic environment
