Customer Service Representative needed to join busy Brooklyn store. This role is responsible for running the store independently and ensuring that the overall operational goals are met.

Report to: Site Manager

Position purpose:

  • Providing extraordinary & efficient service at counter & within our store,

  • Must ensure excellent standards of housekeeping, cleanliness & product quality are maintained,

  • Complete all tasks to the stated Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) policies & Food Safety Management System Standards,

  • You are the site focal point for customer enquiries, and you will assist or direct customers to correct areas.

Accountabilities:

  • Provides quality customer service at the console,

  • Handles customer/supplier complaints efficiently & in a friendly manner,

  • Develops & maintains great working relationships with all site staff members, Site Manager, Operations Managers and Retailers,

  • Conducts housekeeping & merchandising checks,

  • Secures cash and manages the shift to balance,

  • Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control and pricing, including implementing stock control systems, stock tracking, purchasing.

  • Complies with HSSE & Food Safety Management System standards,

  • Is always looking for ways to improve our processes for the benefit of both staff & customers,

  • Is proficient in all areas of Food & Coffee zone. Promotes coffee and food sales,

  • Completes other tasks on site when required,

At least 2 year of Management experience within the retail/Hospitality industry will be preferred. Must be available to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays.
