The Role
The role is responsible for organising the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and despatch of warehouse goods for the Parts Department as well as working on the service desk to deal with customers and their parts requirements. We are keen to speak with people who have a positive attitude, an ability to be well organised, and someone who is happy to complete varied duties and be an allrounder
Ideally, this role would suit someone who has a background in welding and fabrication or from a service-based environment, but we would welcome suitable applicants who are keen to commence in a new role or embark on a career change.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Receive, receipt and allocate/label all inwards goods & parts
  • Contact customers for collection of parts where required
  • Verify packages according to order and invoice (quantity, quality, and price etc)
  • Contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified
  • Schedule picking of orders based on picking list
  • Label deliveries ensuring that they are invoiced and allocated to their designated place
  • Error free picking and packing of all goods for dispatch
  • Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control for parts (i.e., stock take)
  • Maintain daily & assist with show room displays, assemble equipment
  • Manage & Maintain cleanliness and order of warehouse
  • During the time in Warehouse: Assist parts interpreters with overflow of customer enquiries both face to face & via phone where required
  • Answer all incoming phone enquires for parts, and respond to all front desk sales enquiries and emails
  • Use mechanical expertise to identify the needs of our clients and make recommendations
  • Respond to all workshop parts requirements (pricing, pre-picking, and supplying)
  • Order procured parts ensuring accuracy of order numbers including quantity, ETA and price
