He angitūtanga: The opportunity
The Business Liaison is a key customer service and operational role who works as part of a team to provide high quality specialist support and assistance across the Governance Division. Services include administrative, payroll and technology support to elected members and staff, and Town Hall management. You will be mainly based in the Town Hall offices with some room for flexible working dependent on the Town Hall calendar. This may require work at evenings and occasionally weekends.
This role is within the Governance Division Governance System Solutions, which supports the division in various work programmes using customer-centric methodology. Demonstrating the council’s high-performance behaviours, this role is a specialist in customer services and process improvement.
He kōrero mōu: About you
We are looking ideally for people who are tertiary qualification in Business Administration or similar or more than 5 years’ experience. You will have your full NZ Driver’s licence, approximately 5 years’ experience in a customer service and business support environment dealing with difficult customers.
We are also wanting applicants to have good sound experience providing complex business administration support and demonstrate abilities to use Microsoft Office and SAP. If you have proven customer service skills, have experience in a role which requires political nous and business acumen, this could be the role for you.
