We are looking for an experienced Contract Administrator who thrives in a busy and collaborative environment and is focused on delivering exceptional business support. Based from our depot in Christchurch, this is a permanent full-time position and we seek interest from highly motivated team players who have a can-do attitude, enjoy a challenge and take pride in delivering a high standard of customer service.

In this position, you will be responsible for a broad range of tasks including:

  • Customer Service - Providing a high level of customer service, both internally and externally, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Data entry - Completing project and job reporting, ensuring all calls/issues/costs are captured into multiple databases accurately and managed to completion
  • Asset management - Managing and updating the asset management system
  • Subcontractors - Maintaining Subcontractor database and documentation, prioritisation and allocation of workloads
  • Monthly Reports - Analysis of data and preparation of monthly reports for management and customers
  • Accounts - Ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met. Completing monthly invoicing processes, raising purchase orders, invoices and work orders.
  • Management Support - Providing high-level support to the Operations Manager, Team Managers and their teams

The Success factors:

  • Ideally, you'll have a minimum of 2 years of administration experience in a similar role
  • You will have exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
  • You will have strong verbal and written communication skills, high attention to detail and are able to interact positively and warmly with people
  • You will be well versed in the MS Office products and have proven quality data entry skills
  • You are a professional, hardworking self-starter, who takes pride in delivering a high standard of customer service. Nothing is ever a problem or something that cannot be resolved.
  • Ideally, you will be good with numbers, especially have experience in raising PO's invoices and completing monthly billings
  • You enjoy working autonomously and equally with the team and have a great sense of humour
  • You must hold a current Full Class 1 driver license
