The Listening Post a department within Structured Technologies that forms part of the Feisst Group Ltd, delivers digital infrastructure services to commercial and residential customers throughout the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Auckland areas. Due to growth, we now require a highly motivated and proactive Customer Service Consultant with a "can-do" attitude to join our Hamilton Team.

About the Role:

Based in Hamilton you will be responsible for maintaining sales and driving sales leads / opportunities.

• Preparing estimates and designs, as well as pricing for plans
• Process projects accurately with scope of work defined/design
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge of all company products
• Give customers product demonstrations and teach them about the features of benefits of our products
• Provide friendly advice to customers to create a professional and approachable reputation in the industry,
• Provide sales reports
• Supporting our customers in all manners including aftersales support and further cross selling.
• Selling Hi Fi, AV & automation solutions to satisfy customers requirements
• Following up on customer enquiries and establishing excellent customer relationships to close sales
• Be a role model for our health and safety standards and practices
• Actively participate in health and safety processes
• This is a full-time position with some after hours and weekend sales calls as needed.

What we are looking for:

• Proven track record in sales preferably within HI FI, AV & Automation solutions.
• Experience in managing project cost variations.
• High level experience of understanding construction drawings, cable schedules, design and shop drawings.
• Strong planning and analytical performance skills.
• Must be computer literate especially in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Must have sales and customer experience.
• Great customers service skills.
• Ability to work within and encourage a team environment.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills.
