Due to the continual and increasing demand for our shops services, Luxury nails and spa New Brighton requires the services of additional enthusiastic 2 salon assistants for our busy shop. The successful candidates will be required to have and be able to demonstrate that they have more than one year of practical on-the-job experience in the salon field. The successful candidates will have the following personal attributes and qualities:

To be able to fit into the busy team,

Have exceptional interpersonal people skills,

Have good communication skills,

Be able to work independently with minimal supervision,

The successful candidates must be willing to work on a rostered basis as the shop operates five days a week. The range of skills that the successful candidate will be required to be competent in are:

Discussing client needs, assessment of the clients nails and assisting the client in their choice of product,

Performing manicures and pedicures, including decorative nail art,

The application of artificial nails,

Undertake nail repairs,

Other specialised hand and foot treatments, including massage of hands and feet,

Receiving bookings, arranging appointments and maintaining client records

Providing advice on and selling nail care products There will be a minimum of 30 hours per week guaranteed, which will generally be worked between the hours of 10 am 6 pm on the successful applicants rostered days of work. The start date for this position will be negotiated with the successful candidate. The earnings range: Minimum $29.66 per hour Maximum $31.00 per hour
