We currently have an exciting opportunity for a VAS Planner in our Reactive Services Business Unit. You will provide a planning service and support service to the Reactive Services Team. This is a fixed term role to cover maternity leave until 31st May 2024.

About the Role

The successful candidate will report to the Business Unit Manager, and will deliver on key responsibilities like:

• Plan jobs for Reactive Services.
• Compile job packs for Reactive Services.
• Assist in preparing plans and documentation.
• Assist in scheduling resources.
• Report on job progress on a monthly basis.
• Collate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Process invoices and purchase orders.
• Prepare subcontractor agreements.
• Coordinating and entering payroll information from timesheets.
• Providing backup support to Dispatch and other administrative functions within Faults & Maintenance.
• General administration duties, such as filing, organising meetings and taking minutes.

About you

To be considered, you will have:

• A sound understanding of the operations within Reactive Services.
• An understanding of the electricity supply industry.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• The ability to solve problems quickly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Able to write brief reports.
• Flexibility - able to work longer hours to get the job done.
