This person will be operating in the Business Area TOMRA Fresh within TOMRA Food.


Job Description


About the role:

This is not just another web development testing job, it’s a lot more interesting than that. Our software engineering teams collaborate with our colleagues in other disciplines, such as our friends in electronics, mechanical, and data science, to create products to automate the operation of fruit packhouses, think computer vision, AI, mechatronics, high-performance real-time systems and to be fair there is also many web interfaces to test.

We have customers and offices all around New Zealand and the world with loads of opportunity for travel from Hamilton to Norway and many places in between, if they grow fruit we’re probably there.

This is a great opportunity to jump-start your engineering career by gaining exposure to a wide range of technologies and engineering disciplines in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Here's a sneak peek into some of what you will be doing:

  • Assist in designing and implementing testing plans.
  • Support ongoing research to improve existing platforms and develop new techniques to enhance performance.
  • Test software products for quality and performance.
  • Learn and assist in the development of automated test systems and manual test procedures for all aspects of the product.
