Job Description

As a Developer you will be a part of the EMEA Digital Manufacturing & Innovation department that develops the software in the field of Fourth Industrial revolution. Our teams concentrate the best specialists in the field of MES, software development, IoT, Big Data, machines integration, AR/VR, leading projects for transformation and digitalization of production processes in the EMEA region. The main responsibilities of this position are the development & programming of solutions related to the Industry 4.0.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new solutions based on Java/JavaScript/Python/SQL
• Taking care of the code quality, efficiency and security of the created tools in accordance with rules
• Working on improvements in development toolset including testing, deployment scripts and monitoring
• Exploring new latest relevant technology, techniques, frameworks, tools, methodology and processes
• Cooperating daily with non-polish speaking coworkers (work with analysts, Product Owners, Architects, Developers and the Exploitation team)

Our Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in software development
• At least 3 years of experience in programming language (Java/JavaScript)
• Knowledge of Python - optional
• Knowledge of SQL databases
• Understanding the principles of object-oriented programming
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence
• Familiarity with an agile environment (i.e. Scrum, Kanban)
• Ability to code analyzing and suggest the best solutions
• Ability to analyze data from a variety of sources to find meaningful insights as well as identify gaps and inconsistencies
• Spreading best practices in software development
• Good level of English at least B2 (both written and spoken)
• Strong communication skill
• Passionate about software engineering and constant learning
