Transport Operator Menzies Distribution are looking for a Transport Operator to join our team. providing a first class service in Corby, Northamptonshire. The main responsibility of this role will be to support our customers, drivers and colleagues throughout the business. What You Really Want To Know: This is a Monday to Friday Shift Pattern Hours of work are 22:00-06:00 30 Minute Unpaid Break / Paid 37.5 hours per week The salary for this role is £29,100.00 per annum or £14.92 per hour Holiday Allowance is 28 days per annum inclusive of bank holidays Transport Operator Duties: Maintenance and Management of the Transport Management System (TMS). Ensure effective and efficient use of driver and vehicle resources. Promotion and adherence to site policy and procedure. Manage driver briefing / de-briefing including downloading driver digicards. Cross functional interaction (Warehouse / Drivers or Contractors / Customers). Undertake any other duties that are reasonably requested. Transport Operator Requirements: Good communication skills are essential with the ability to express empathy with customers Planning or scheduling experience Knowledge of Health & Safety.
