Telephone Account Manager – Wholesale Sector- National Accounts – Working Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, office based – Tamworth – OTE £28,000 Brakes are looking to recruit an Account Manager to look after a portfolio of National Account Customers In the Wholesale Sector. As a Brakes Telephone National Account Manager, for the wholesale Sector, you will be responsible for the retention, growth, activation and development of customers within the wholesale sector, aligned to the National Accounts Team. Principle Accountabilities & Responsibilities Develop profitable sales growth across existing wholesale sector customer base Develop sound understanding of customers map of the world Develop and maintain a specialist knowledge of the wholesale sector and the Brakes wholesale proposition. Understand and share insight into competitor activity and market developments in the wholesale sector with the wider sector team. Proactively managing customer retention and reduce customer churn. Proactively manage and convert new business opportunities within the lease and tenanted wholesale sector. Growing share of wallet, building a pipeline across product categories and converting these opportunities Up to date product and service knowledge Actively manage risk within the customer base, including lost sales and credit exposure Develop account plans and relevant contact strategies in order to maximise customer contact and foster and maintain robust customer relationships that grow profitable sales. You'll be a valuable member of the Team, contributing to the success of our business whilst working with a great team of people and having fun along the way! Knowledge, Skills, Experience Previous experience in a structured sales or internal account management environment Results Orientated, successfully delivering against targets in a competitive market place Proven ability to work in a KPI focused, target driven environment Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Outstanding active listening skills with an ability to engage and influence customers and stakeholders at all levels. First class negotiating skills with strong commercial awareness Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency to work in a deadline driven environment Proactive approach with proven ability to manage multiple and changing priorities Confident user of Microsoft Office applications, excel, PowerPoint, word etc. Strong planning and organisation skills. Self-motivated with the ability to operate effectively both individually and as part of a team. You: You’ll be a natural people person and problem solver with a real drive to deliver results.
