VAM Systems is currently looking for IT Project Manager for our UAE operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions :

Experience in handling Infra, Data Centers &Voice / Phone Projects

PMP or Prince2 Certification, Mandatory

Able to work with diverse mix of people from different regions at different time zones

Interpret and write detailed project charters

Translate technical infrastructure requirements (high-level and functional)

Create / maintain a detailed project plan (work breakdown structure dictionary)

Prepare & setup meetings, workshops & SteerCos

Demonstrate competency in coordinating all aspects of a project involving multiple IT disciplines. Coordinate projects with other on-going efforts.

Assign and coordinate project resources

Proactive communication with sponsors, stakeholders and team members

Monitors and communicate status to leadership. Communicate and incorporate feedback from stakeholders and management.

Regularly update Organizational Process Asset (ITBM) with project progress and other information as needed by Leadership Team

Management of the project scope, deliverables and timeline

Lead the project team by example; from project kickoff to closure

Management of the materials budget

Management of the scope change approval process

Manage the scope change process and issue identification / resolution with all stakeholders

Identify and anticipate risks and issues. Facilitate resolution, mitigation, and appropriate escalation

Manage project risk and change management

Manage the close-out of project including the handover to the proper operation teams of relevant documents, procedures and knowledge transfer

Nice to have :

Experience in working in Oil & gas companies

Work experience :

3+ years of professional experience

Minimum education level : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication or scientific related field

Job purpose :

The Project Manager (PM) under as-needed supervision of the Infrastructure Projects Manager (IPM) is responsible for monitoring all aspects of a project.

The overall responsibility is to ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget and that it meets or exceeds expectations.

The PM also ensures that the projects are aligned with IT standards and strategies.

The Project Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of a general information technology project or multiple, small-medium scale IT projects.

This includes project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, communication and cost in order to manage the completion of work for a specific area.

The PM controls the critical path, contingencies, scope changes and budget (both labor and non-labor). The PM coordinates the day-to-day activities of the project team from original concept through final implementation and ensures that resources are used efficiently.

The PM adheres to established project management methodologies and standards while carrying out their responsibilities. This includes applying project management and systems development lifecycle processes to information technology projects.

The PM maintains agreed levels of continuity consistent with customer requirements, group policies and regulatory requirements.

This may include managing the effective resolution of serious or complex incidents or problems, ensuring adequate steps are taken to eliminate root causes and prevent recurrence.
