Centre Administrator

Salary from £28,240 to £31,527 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £33,753 pa inclusive of London allowance

The Suntory and Toyota International Centres for Economics and Related Disciplines (STICERD) is part of the thriving research community at the LSE. We are seeking an experienced professional to work closely with the Centre Director and administrative team to provide excellent administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the Centre. The successful post holder will provide administrative support to the Director and senior academics in the Centre and will assist with seminar organisation and provide ongoing support to internally and externally funded research projects. You will need to use your initiative in dealing with a wide range of tasks and be able to juggle multiple deadlines. Accuracy and attention to detail, a good eye for presentation and an excellent standard of written and spoken English are all essential. The post will provide you with an excellent opportunity to develop your career in Higher Education.

Candidates should have:

  • Previous work experience in an administrative capacity, preferably within the Higher Education sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as this role will involve working closely with students, faculty and staff.
  • High attention to detail, initiative and be able to organise and prioritise own work.
