Overall Purpose of the Job:

• A coordinated and proactive media relations operation for the University in accordance with best practice in media relations, the University’s external relations and branding strategy and the University’s strategic objectives;
• A coordinated and proactive media relations operation for the Faculty of Science and Engineering and its Schools in accordance with best practice in media relations, the Faculty’s external relations strategy and its strategic objectives;
• Assisting in the development of a media relations strategy and delivery of objectives as part of the Faculty’s External Relations Strategy and the University’s overall Communications and Marketing Plan.
