The Role

We are looking for a student support officer to help our ever-growing band of students. This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone who loves creating music or sound design and wants to work remotely as part of a friendly and innovative team.

About You

You will need to be self-motivated, empathetic and diplomatic, a good listener and good at finding solutions to problems.

Preferably you will have personal experience of writing music using music technology – almost all the staff have a background as professional musicians, songwriters, and film composers so you’ll fit right in.

We run very professionally focussed courses, but it is still an academic qualification so you will need at least an undergraduate degree, but it can be in any subject.

You will need excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Team to provide a timely and satisfactory answer to their query.

  • refer students on to specific learning, academic and personal support where they are encountering difficulties
  • support initiatives to support students with specific learning needs
  • engage with potential students
  • general student administration and support

This is a remote position so you can live anywhere in the UK as long as you have a fast, reliable internet connection. We start our day with a morning meeting on Slack where everyone gets together. Hours can be flexible as long as there is sufficient overlap with the rest of the team. We also enjoy occasional face to face social meet ups where the team comes together from all over the country to Chichester in West Sussex which is where we are based.

Holidays: 20 days plus public holidays increasing by 1 day a year per year of service up to 25 days.

This is a permanent full time, PAYE position with sick pay and a pension. Part time 4 days a week is a possibility.

How to Apply
