Expected Starting Date: 28th February 2023
WHAT WE OFFER
- £10.90 basic hourly rate - we are a Living Wage Foundation Employer.
- 24 hours per week, 4 days over 7 including 3 out of 4 weekends evenings.
- 18 hours per week, 3 days over 7 including 3 out of 4 weekends and evenings.
- We offer permanent contracts, advanced scheduling
Our hours of operation in the IKEA Food team are between 8am and 10pm, we are looking for people with availability between these times.
Final offers of employment are contingent upon clear results in mandatory background checks. Backgrounds checks must be completed by all successful candidates and will include medical history.

We are looking for someone like you to help us deliver a taste of Sweden and a great customer experience with high quality, sustainable food. You will contribute to a passionate and friendly team to deliver a better everyday life for the many, while embracing change with a solution-orientated mindset.
We are looking for someone who loves working together with your fellow co-workers, looking at things differently & always want to improve. You are down to earth, you lead by example & take responsibility & inspire both the customer & other co-workers. The customer is always in focus, you strive to make them smile, taking time to seek and listen to feedback.
This is an extremely fast paced working environment and requires you to multitask, producing and serving food with regular heavy lifting.
Prior experience in food is desirable, but not essential if you have a roll up your sleeve mindset to the various tasks & challenges that present themselves.

- Restaurant & Swedish Food Market/Bistro - This means you could be working on the restaurant floor and tills, Staff Restaurant, and the Swedish Food Market and the dishwash
