CONTRACT INFORMATION

39 hours per week- Monday to Friday 7.30am till 4pm. Flexibility is required throughout the year as there may be a need to work evenings/weekends occasionally when we have range changes.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • You have an education/currently studying in graphic communication design, or have came from a strong background in graphic communication

  • You have some experience of using graphic design software and production tools Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Apple Mac

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN IKEA GRAPHIC COMMUNICATOR
  • Using your graphic design skills, the IKEA Concept and IKEA visual and copy identity to create and implement graphic solutions that ensure clarity, consistency, simplicity and clear messages - overseeing the complete range of customer store communication.

  • Applying your knowledge and understanding of people’s life a home and their buying behaviour to improve graphic communication inside and outside the IKEA store to facilitate the buying process.

  • You will work together as part of a large team across all IKEA Birmingham departments & functions. This will involve the use of ladders, working at heights and a degree of heavy lifting.

  • We are IKEA ambassadors and work in line with IKEA brand & IKEA Global guidelines to protect the IKEA Brand.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Successful candidates will be asked to complete a task prior which you will present back at interview with the hiring manager. All interviews will take place on the 6th,7th and 8th of March with a start date of the 18th of March.
