This is an exciting opportunity to work on a new research study looking at Pompe disease in adults, young people and children with Chronic
Fatigue Syndrome or Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. You will work with the Bath and Bristol sites for this study, with the possibility for some remote working.

We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced person who may have experience of working in clinical trials. The public’s awareness of clinical research has increased, due to the pandemic, and they are eager to contribute to finding new treatments and improving outcomes and quality of life so there has never been a better time to work in research. The job entails supporting all aspects of trial organisation from trial set up to completion as an integrated member of the clinical research team.

To fill this role we are looking for a highly motivated person who prides themselves on their excellent planning, attention to detail and flexibility.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who wants to develop their skills and knowledge in a research environment ideally with excellent organisational skills and administrative experience with good attention to detail as the role will include data entry. Previous experience of working within the NHS would be an advantage due to familiarity of NHS data systems.

The role entails supporting all aspects of trial organisation from trial set up, site file maintenance to study close out, spreadsheet and database creation and maintenance, data collection and patient correspondence. We work closely with our clinical respiratory colleagues so good communication skills are essential.
