An Opportunity has arisen to work in the Spar Shop situated on the University Hospital Llandough site.

The Shop is open 7 days a week serving Staff, patients and visitors, the focus of the Shop is to assist in achieving maximum sales, profit and customer satisfaction by carrying out allocated tasks in an effective & efficient manner, in order to assist in achieving maximum sales, and profit whilst providing an efficient & accurate service to customers offering the highest level of customer service at all times.
1. To provide a high level of service to customers from counters and till points
2. To ensure all products are stocked up and well presented at all times
3. To ensure that all areas are clean, tidy and welcoming
4. To operate the tills and card machines following financial instructions and procedures
5. To undertake the cleaning of all areas as scheduled
6. To undertake stock deliveries and returns in accordance to the procedure
7. To assist in stock and waste control
8. To report accidents/incidents to the Supervisor immediately
9. To report defective equipment immediately to the Supervisor
10. To communicate effectively to all customers, responding to all queries as appropriate.
11. To work in other Catering units as necessary

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
