Please note, this job is fully remote aside from the occasional meeting in London.Universal Facades are currently recruiting for an Estimator on behalf of one of our clients based in London.

This role will be entirely home based, aside from the occasional meeting in London, which will be covered by the client.

The ClientMy client is a Aluminium product specialist that has been working in the facades sector for over 40 years. They are now looking to expand their capabilities by growing their Estimating team.The Role

• When tenders arrive, assess the type of tender, client, and closing date of tender to determine prioritisation of all tenders
• Review and assess tenders ensuring all tender documents are received and are correct
• Review tender documents assessing scope risks involved, tender complexity and provide feedback to the Commercial Director.
• Participate in infrequent Site visits.
• Compile letter of offer, tender schedules, program, and other items required by the tender.
• Once tender is completed incorporate all relevant details, forward to Estimating Manager for review and approval prior to submission.
• Liaise with client on an on-going basis to determine progress of tender.
• Make tender amendments where applicable utilising client feedback on submitted tender.The Candidate
• Must have at least 2 years working as an Estimator.
• Must have experience in the Facades Sector.
• Outstanding written and oral skills.
• Have experience Estimating tenders of at least £2m.
• Plenty of enthusiasm and drive
• A proactive, diligent, and forward-thinking approach
