Department Overview
The StoneX Compliance Department provides regulatory advice and support to the various business lines under the StoneX Financial Limited entity in the UK and across our offices in the EMEA region. The Department is also responsible for maintaining the compliance governance and control framework which includes training, policies and procedures, regulatory horizon scanning and regulatory implementation. The Department is split into three core teams covering the Wholesale Business, Retail Business and Central Surveillance. The intern role will be within the Wholesale Team covering our Commodities, Securities and Payments businesses.
Responsibilities:
  • Assisting the StoneX Compliance department to carry out monitoring tasks to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Processing and/or reviewing information relating to any areas of responsibility of the Compliance department
  • Assist in the administration of compliance policies and procedures
  • Assisting in the execution of compliance projects and/or ad hoc tasks as required
  • Researches industry trends and becomes familiar with the laws and regulations of the firm.
  • Job shadows multiple members of the department
  • Utilizes company resources to improve processes and procedures for team.
  • Updates internal systems with the most current data and/or information.
  • Attends meetings, events, and other networking opportunities

Early Careers Requirements
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant program and graduating between December 2024 and August 2025 (entering penultimate year of university)
  • Available for a June 2024 start date for an 8-10 week program.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (preferably Excel)
  • Must be authorized to work in the UK for any employer.
