As a Barclays Tech Standards Delivery Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of critical projects/requirements for the Tech Standards Programme across Markets & Research Technology. In your role, you will have exposure across the entire Markets & Research stack and partner with the leadership team to keep the stack current and stay on top of the quickly evolving cyber security space.

What will you be doing?

Defining a high-level roadmap for mandated Technical Debt and Cyber Security priorities and ensure appropriate governance practices and forums are in place to maintain this

Ensuring Tech standards Management work with Cyber and Infrastructure partners to provide clear requirements for mandated priorities to the SPoCs and Delivery Teams

Making sure SPoCs are responsible for assessing requirements, defining adequate delivery plans that will achieve the outcomes required for success, and providing regular updates

Ensuring any changes to mandated priorities are approved or rejected by the Senior Leadership Group

Prioritizing best practices that ensure transparency, facilitate escalations, and enable execution of risk mitigation plans

Identifying continuous improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices while establishing the Tech Standards Portfolio governance

Owning project financials and resource requirements for both annual planning exercises and ongoing financial control

Being responsible for programme compliance with Barclays change control standards as required

What we’re looking for:

Excellent communication and relationship skills and stakeholder management

Proven ability to influence and manage across multiple teams and regions to deliver solutions to complex problems

Driven to apply order and process, yet flexible to adapt as needed for continuous improvement

Extensive experience as a technical project manager preferably in Cyber Security projects or Infrastructure upgrades
