Here's what you'll be doing

E.ON Drive are working with a major vehicle manufacturer to establish a public charging network across Europe.

 

This role holder will support that project by managing a programme of complex Eon Drive (Electric Vehicle Infrastructure) work throughout the UK, carried out by external and internal sub contractors, under performance contract and competitive tender frameworks.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Work as Project Lead for EON Drive infrastructure Projects.
  • Take responsibility for the Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality Measures which ensure Compliance with legislation and support in maintaining ISO accreditations.
  • Work with the EON Drive Sales Team in generating business which achieves the MTP sales and revenue targets.
  • Take a pro-active and leading role in the continuous Improvement of EON Drive performance and processes.


What we are seeking from you

  • Proven project management experience and skills to enable effective working relationships.
  • Strong negotiating skills and an understanding of the commercial impact of their activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to ensure the most effective delivery of the work programme.
  • Numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and information and produce it in a clear and logical format.
  • Financial and commercial experience.
  • A pro-active and creative approach to problem solving.
  • Oral and written communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to take a confident and diplomatic approach with staff, contractors, customers and senior managers.
  • A working knowledge of PC based computer systems and the ability to adapt quickly to changes to those systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including C(DM), NRSWA, Electricity at Work Act, HASAWA and TMA.
  • A thorough understanding and detailed experience in C(DM) responsibilities.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness for regular UK travel (including some international travel when required).

 

It would be great if you have

  • An appropriate engineering qualification e.g. Degree /HNC or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and experience of EV installation.
