Exciting Opportunity for a Year 1 Primary teacher in central Birmingham

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated key stage 1 teacher seeking an exciting career opportunity in central Birmingham ?

A welcoming Catholic school in the central area of Birmingham are actively searching for a passionate year 1 teacher to join their successful team and deliver outstanding lessons in year 1. This is a full time role starting April 2024 until at least July 2024.

This school are seeking a dedicated teacher who is able to plan and deliver engaging and fun lessons to their very able year 1 class, you will use a variety to teaching strategies to support pupils at all levels to access the curriculum and get the very best from their time at school.

Salary: 130 - 180

• Experienced: Showcase a proven track record in primary teaching, demonstrating a solid understanding of the national curriculum
• Qualified: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Overseas Teaching Threshold (OTT)
• Passionate: Exhibit genuine enthusiasm for teaching, fostering a love for learning, Prior key stage 2 experience is essential
• Organised: Capable of planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Patient & Empathetic: Create a supportive learning environment where every child feels valued and heard.
• Classroom Management: Possess excellent classroom management skills, ensuring engaging and productive lessons
