If you are an experienced Field Service Engineer / Instrumentation Technician looking for a role working for a large global brand and a great team of people then this may be the role for you
You will be responsible for providing ongoing maintenance of electro-mechanical and computer controlled systems, primarily in the UK or for customers worldwide if and when required.
We will provide training on our products and instruments but you should as a minimum have a background in electro-mechanical repairs, fault finding, circuit boards and excellent communication skills.
The successful individual will be required to:
* Install and maintain benchtop and handheld equipment, including XRF, OES, and TA instruments.
* Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and confidence at all times.
* Provide market intelligence to the marketing and sales functions to help increase leads and sales.
What you need to be successful:
A solid background of successfully troubleshooting / repairing and testing complex electro-mechanical systems and experience of XRF components and systems would be an advantage. The desire to exceed customer expectations and provide the highest levels of service at all times.

Essential Skills and Experience
•Engineering experience of at least 2 years
•Fault Finding experience of at least 1 year
•Microsoft Office skills is a must
•Experience with the following software would be a plus: Salesforce and CRM
•Experience of dealing with customers, testing complex electro - mechanical systems and their customer applications.
•Able to diagnose complex system failures and propose effective solutions
•Proactive approach and problem solving
