Children's residential support worker based in a residential children's home near Loddon

Your new company
You will be working for a company that offers residential children's homes and educational settings to young people with EBD and a traumatic start in life. As a company, their ethos is encouraging their young people to achieve in life.
Your new role
As a residential support worker, you will be based in their children's home supporting and mentoring the children and young people in their everyday lives. You will be involved in activities and caregiving both inside and outside the home and will need to promote routine and a sense of accomplishment in all that you do.
Your shift pattern will consist of long days with some sleep-ins required. You will be assigned a team that sets your rota pattern, which is 2 weekdays and a weekend day on rotation, ensuring you have a good work/life balance.
The starting hourly rate for this role is £13.69.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be passionate about supporting young people to achieve. You will also be resilient and patient as there may be challenging behaviours shown by the young people.
Due to the location of the site, it is essential that you drive and have your own transport.
