Asbestos Surveyor. Cumbria and South-West Scotland. Up

To £40,000 (DOE) + company vehicle. DKF are on the lookout for an Asbestos Surveyor for our client, an award-winning Asbestos Removal Contractor. Formed over 20 years ago, this client has continued to grow and has gone from strength to strength.

Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now keen to add another Asbestos Surveyor to their team to assist with a variety of Client projects including hospitals, local councils, housing associations and Blue Chip companies. What your core responsibilities would be:Carrying out thorough asbestos surveys in various sites including commercial and residential properties, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Perform visual inspections, collect samples, and accurately record data to assess the presence and condition of any asbestos present.

Competent and accurate completion of lab paperwork including Bulk Samples, in a timely and efficient manner. To provide quality services and information to clients, must have knowledge of all current asbestos health and safety regulations and ensure this is maintained. Build and maintain relationships within their large client network.To be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:Must hold BOHS P402 or equivalent qualification.

At least 12 months experience working in a similar role for a UKAS accredited company. Previous asbestos surveying experience within a range of different settings. A strong understanding of asbestos-related regulations, guidelines, and best practices.

Must be IT competent. Flexibility to travel throughout Cumbria and South-West Scotland. Full, Clean UK Driving Licence.

Benefits:Annual salary of up to £40,000 depending on experience. Company Vehicle.25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays. No weekends.
