  • Job Description: Perform administrative tasks as needed for Assistant Vice President of Purchasing and Payment Services. Answer questions and provide guidance in regards to the Purchasing and Payment Services Portfolio.
  • Job Details: General Notes Must be eligible to work in the US on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship. Responsibilities Communicate with University and non-University personnel on matters relating to Purchasing and Payment Services and handle the communication needs of the Assistant Vice President of Purchasing and Payment Services. Oversee various projects from inception to completion. Perform administrative tasks as needed for Assistant Vice President of Purchasing, including the creation of reports, filing, scheduling, and other necessary tasks as directed by the Assistant Vice President. Entrusted with confidential information. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Serve as departmental liaison to Human Resources Support Services (HRSS), attending monthly meetings and submitting requests on behalf of Purchasing and Payment Services. Answer questions and provide guidance in regards to the Purchasing and Payment Services Portfolio. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED along with at least seven (7) years of clerical experience, including one (1) year at the Administrative Assistant or Administrative Associate level. Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. Ability to work in a professional manner as both a self-starter and a team member. Strong business process skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills. Proficient at Microsoft Office Products, the Internet. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree along with at least three (3) years of experience performing clerical work, preferably in the purchasing and payment services field. Salary Range $45,000 Working Conditions Work within standard office conditions, including repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation, answering phones, climbing stairs, use of a scanner and copier, ability to lift, carry and file paper files, and use of manual dexterity. May occasionally need to work more than forty hours per week. Currently, the position is virtual/remote but may transition to a physical office environment.
