Eaton Corporation is currently seeking a Customer Account Manager to join our growing Aerospace team. This position must report and be within driving distance of one of the following Eaton Manufacturing locations: Irvine CA ; LA, CA ; Forth Worth, TX ; Beltsville, MD ; Jackson, MI; Jackson, MS; Grand Rapids, MI ; Glenolden, PA ; Davenport, IA ; Orchard Park, NY ; Euclid OH ; East Providence,,Rhode Island. Full work remote is not an option for this role. No relocation or visa assistance benefit is being offered for this position.

The Customer Account Manager is responsible for managing the relationship with Raytheon Technologies for military, defense and commercial market segments. The position will partner with Raytheon Technologies and key leaders across all divisions and functions to position opportunities for growth and support existing business as needed.

In this role you will:

  • Develop, implement and manage go-to-market strategies to drive business growth at the associated accounts and sites.
  • Scout and hunt for valuable, actionable new share gain opportunities and work with proposal teams to submit a winning proposal from Gate 1 through RFP.
  • Develop platform win strategy on new development programs and maximize Eaton shipset content.
  • Develop relationships with key executives and strategic sourcing leaders.
  • Coordinate and facilatate customer technical interchange meetings for Eaton to showcase latest technology development consistent with the Divisions' product technology roadmaps.
  • Proactively monitor Eaton's performance impacting the account across all customer sites and prioritize issues affecting the business relationship and provide timely resolution.
  • Act as the “Voice of the Customer” for all business aspects and have deep understanding of the customer strategic direction, challenges, threats and opportunities.
  • Support the deployment of the applicable parts of the Eaton Strategic Plan at the account, including activity related to technology road map alignment, business development.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience working in a sales, business development or customer support.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States on an on-going basis without Company sponsorship.
  • Relocation assistance is not being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of posted Eaton Manufacturing facility. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years in a commercial Aerospace role
  • Ability to quickly navigate Eaton and our customer’s organizations and effectively leverages cross-functional resources to solve problems, identify opportunities and meet objectives
  • Demonstrating excellence in verbal and written English communication skills
  • Well informed about upcoming Aerospace/Aviation market trends
  • Knowledge of Aerospace commercial and sales processes.
  • Ability to travel spontaneously 50% of the time including US (mostly) and occasional international travel (UK).

The expected annual salary range for this role is $120,318 - $176,470 a year.
