A Personal Lines Associate at Brightway provides a broad range of insurance-related customer service and business development support to our customers and agencies. Giving a high level of support with the goal of maintaining and strengthening those relationships. This role plays an integral part of the “face/voice of Brightway” and works with all levels of the organization to promptly resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  • Handles requests received in inbound phone calls from customers, agents and others
  • Proactively makes outbound phone calls with the purpose of providing service or selling additional products/services
  • Fulfills requesters’ needs, ensuring satisfaction
  • Listens to, and incorporates, feedback
  • Documents activities and follow up in appropriate systems regularly and accurately
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Reports activity and outcomes to manager


Requirements

  • Must have an active 20-44 or 2-20 license
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 0-3 years’ experience in Customer Service or a related field
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • This is a remote position however, you must reside in one of the following states: Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Missouri, Kansas, Georgia, Indiana, Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, or Tennessee
  • Available to start on February 6, 2023 in the Engagement Center Training Class

Essential Job functions

The ability to perform the following functions with or without reasonable accommodation; ability to communicate orally with others, reading, writing, walking, speaking, hearing, regular use of the telephone and e-mail for company communication is essential, extended periods viewing computer screen, repetitive motion, sitting for extended periods is common, pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching/grasping, lifting/carrying up to 20 pounds various items, good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, good reasoning ability is required to solve a wide range of business problems within your department; able to perform basic mathematics; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, able to apply statistical calculations, analysis of variance, correlation techniques.
