Summary Posted: Nov 8, 2022 Weekly Hours: 40 Role Number: 200440932 Apple has the ability to communicate to employees during times of crisis or during safety or security incidents. This is achieved through the use of a mass communications tool, provided by Everbridge. Underpinning this technology is the need to harvest contact numbers across various Apple systems, design enrollment campaigns and communications, train system users, deliver important metrics that drive programmatic developments, and work with the vendor to ensure we have an outstanding depth of knowledge about global crisis communications capabilities! The role holder will lead the AEA program from technical mastery to business management. This will include working across the global Crisis Management Teams as well as with Global Security Operations Center / Security Operations Center operators, Global Security Comms teams, and IS&T. They will also be the person responsible for making sure mass communications in crisis situations are well thought out, detailed and implemented flawlessly. The role has a global responsibility, so there will need to be flexibility in working hours, and a willingness to accept different working practices and styles, while driving quality and consistency. Knowledge of the system is not required, but a curiosity about technology, project management, data analysis, and teamwork is vital. Equally important is an excellent grasp of the softer skills required for delivering written briefings, stakeholder and partner management, persuading and influencing others, and leading excellent internal and external relationships. Description • Overall program ownership of AEA, including technical system delivery, team member engagement, enrollment drives, privacy and policy reviews, and project management • Build and review all AEA templates (both general and event specific) • Deliver training on Everbridge and AEA processes for the Crisis Management Analysts • Own mass communications work in relation to the Active Threat Program (ATP), including participating in ATP tabletops • Build and review geo-boundaries for mass communications for new building activations and decommissioned buildings • Manage process and system updates in collaboration with SOC Leadership • Coordinate SOC and Crisis Management drills • Regularly test the Everbridge system and escalate bugs to resolution both with IS&T and Everbridge support • Deliver monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc metrics to key stakeholders, and use those metrics to direct programmatic changes • Directly support crisis response and analyst workflows (send AEAs, deliver badge-in reports, welfare check AEA’s, traveler reports, Virtual Command Center (VCC) support, etc.) • Lead all AEA improvement projects Education & Experience Additional Requirements
