We currently have offices in Northern and Southern California as well as New Jersey – however, many of our consultants live and work remotely. Our Technical Consultants work hand in hand with Deutsche Bahn’s railway subject matter experts from our local offices and from all over the world.
We are looking for a talented Senior Consultant Station Operations and Customer Experience to join our team in Irvine, California/USA.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead and/or support in station operations and customer experience consulting projects and take responsibility for your own project modules, e.g. managing and developing station operations and customer experience procedures, plans, work laws and policies for the clients
  • Help our clients to improve their business and organizational performance for passenger rail stations and to develop and implement new business strategies
  • Consult on the operation of stations equipment, assets, buildings & entire premises
  • Perform research and quantitative analyses, conduct/ coordinate studies and lead workshops
  • Present project results to senior management
  • Leverage the knowledge and expertise of Deutsche Bahn’s railway subject matter experts in our other consulting projects, where applicable
Your profile:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Transportation or related field or a combination of training and work experience
  • At least three years of experience in the management of railway stations
  • Knowledge of daily station operations and customer experience as well as service delivery procedures in stations and railway operations
  • Previous consulting experience is preferable
  • Outstanding analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to be self-directed and to be an independent contributor to the team
  • Aptitude to quickly grasp new concepts and effectively produce results
  • Strong oral and written communication as well as public presentation skills
  • Strong Knowledge in MS-Office tools Excel, PowerPoint, Word Experience in using Excel for performing analyses and developing quantitative models
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Relocation to Southern California is required; however, occasional domestic/international travel may be required
  • Passion for transport, mobility and railway

We offer an annual gross salary between $90,000 and $135,000 for full-time employment, depending on professional qualifications and experience.
