Under general supervision, performs a variety of duties including entering data, processing transactions, obtaining information, and interacting with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

Makes rules-based decisions based on standard work documents to ensure accuracy and compliance to legal requirements. Reviews forms and requests to ensure appropriate documentation is present and determine general acceptability and completeness. Follows up with customers where necessary to request appropriate documentation. Enters and retrieves information using computer systems and applications to update records as appropriate. Identifies when requests need to be reassigned or escalated. Generates ideas for process improvements that are in direct supports of the quality behaviors. Executes and quickly integrates business approved changes. Actively takes ownership of opportunities and participates in continuous improvement activities. Assists with special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Knowledge, skills and capabilities typically acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent experience, plus a minimum of one year of related work experience is required
• Solid interpersonal skills needed in order to communicate effectively with customers and other staff

• Broad working knowledge of personal lines products, terminology, procedures and forms preferred
• Strong knowledge of systems and personal computer workstations preferred
