Saelens Corporation (Diamond Precision) is looking for a Full-Time HR Coordinator to join our team. This position will be responsible for performing HR-related duties in the following functional areas: recruitment, retention, payroll, employee relations, benefits, training, employment, and safety. This role carries out administrative work involving the human resources functions and maintains related records; supports and improves policies, programs, and procedures to improve the effectiveness of HR and Operations.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruitment cycle including posting jobs, screening resumes, completing phone screens, schedule and prepare necessary information for in person interviews, and sending out rejection/offer letters.
- Participate in Job Fairs at colleges and local community events.
- Complete/coordinate new hire process for managing staff including orientation, new hire paperwork and safety training.
- Process weekly payroll.
- Record data of employee transfers as well as changes affecting net wages, such as exemptions, and insurance coverage, for each employee for update keeping of master payroll records
- Support the administration of Insurance Benefits Open Enrollment and monthly benefit enrollments for new hires and change requests.
- Report, maintains, and monitors workers' compensation case files; follows-up on open cases.
- Participate in the Safety committee and implements ideas to improve safety.
- Maintain OSHA logs and pulls quarterly reports and OHSA data as needed.
- Ability to answer employee questions and or concerns regarding Human Resource policy, procedures, or employee handbook interpretations.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from employees and escalate to Human Resources Manager as needed.
- Assist Supervisors with employee inquiries, performance review process, coaching, counseling, and terminations and escalates to Human Resources Manager as needed.
- 1-3 years’ experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing operation.
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
- HRIS experience, preferably with Paylocity
- Collaborative work style and ability to work effectively across departments.
- Must possess excellent oral, written, presentation and listening skills.
- Results oriented with ability to effectively manage projects and tight deadlines.
- Understands the needs of timely recruitment strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
