GP Strategies is hiring an entry-level digital marketing specialist (remote). The successful candidate will join the corporate marketing team to help execute business-to-business (B2B) digital marketing programs across global industries and service lines. The digital marketing specialist will help plan, publish, and monitor social media content and work on website analytics and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the digital marketing manager in planning, coordinating, and publishing content and promotion initiatives.
  • Social Media Support:

o Assist in posting and promoting GP Strategies services and thought leadership through multiple social media channels. Analyze traffic and identify opportunities to improve engagement and other key metrics. Monitor social media traffic and assist with employee advocacy.

o Update schedules, track progress, and report on results for global marketing initiatives such as content creation and production, campaign launches, award submissions, and more.

  • Digital Advertising Support: Assist in publishing and monitoring digital ads across a variety of platforms, including Google, Microsoft, social media, and more. Assist in research, piloting, and expansion of digital channels.
  • Reporting: Provide monthly reports on key social media and digital advertising metrics. Assist in providing analysis and recommendations for improvement and opportunities for digital growth.
  • Analytics: Assist in improving the health of analytics across platforms. Assist in integrating marketing systems including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and more.
  • Ensure consistent and full compliance with GP Strategies brand guidelines and established processes.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience with social media channels including LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • Strong analytical skills, including ability to synthesize and communicate data findings effectively such as website traffic and engagement metrics, and social media engagement metrics. Related skills are also acceptable.
  • Strong real-time and asynchronous communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Physical working conditions—remote and/or office environment.
  • Ability to learn new programs, marketing software/platforms, and concepts with a thirst to learn and improve.

Preferred Requirements

  • Understanding of modern B2B marketing (especially content marketing, branding, and lead generation).
  • Experience writing and editing for specific audiences in a variety of formats and with elements of persuasion.
  • Professional interest in corporate learning and development (L&D).
