Our client, a large financil services/Investment firm is looking for an Operations Support Specialist.  This role is a great opportunity to start a career in Finance  The role pays $20/hr and is long term possible temp-hire. 

salary: $19.99 - $20 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

- Develop product and process knowledge relating to daily responsibilities
- Effectively meeting daily deadlines as determined by specific responsibilities within department
- Identify and mitigate risk posed to the Firm through escalation to management
- Develop working relationships with peers and senior people in Trading, Support, Technology, and Operations
- Ensure internal control and external regulatory compliance policies and their impacts are understood and adhered to, i.e., segregation of duties, money-laundering rules, exchange deadlines, etc.
- Continuously look for business process improvements.
