Job Title: Tech Advisor-Systems Engineer Sr.

Job Location: 3000 N Sam Houston Parkway East, Houston, TX 77032

Duties:
Responsible for the system and major sub-system level design within Integrated Product Team, including the implementation and design of hardware and software; Monitors the performance of systems; Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures; Provides consultation on large complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist; Develops systems that can be produced economically and supported throughout their life cycle; Advises on the development and monitoring of internal and external interface compatibility of the system and subsystems using an open systems approach; Establishes baselines and configuration control for multiple projects.

Requirements:
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field and 5 years of work experience in job offered or 5 years of related experience as an Oil and Gas Systems Engineer or related role.

Position also requires experience in:

1. Experience in log analysis for both Formation Evaluation and Well Integrity.
2. Experience preparing and deploying resistivity, nuclear, acoustical, imaging, nuclear magnetic resonance logging tools in open-hole environments to acquire petro physical data and evaluate hydrocarbon bearing reservoirs.
3. Experience monitoring and controlling systems and processes remotely to effectively identify and solve quality issues that may arise.
4. Experience with design and preparation of special open-hole applications such as Vertical Interference Testing (VIT), Mini-DST, Micro-Frac, and Walkaway / Walkaround seismic surveys.
5. Experience identifying potential risks to system reliability and safety and developing strategies to effectively mitigate risks in both Integrated Cased Hole and Open Hole business units.
6. Experience administering and monitoring logging and perforating maintenance budgets ensuring that resources and personnel are allocated efficiently to improve operations performance metrics.
7. Experience delivering technical presentations on logging and perforating services presenting data analysis results, performance metrics and improvement strategies to customers and stakeholders.
