Riviersonderend Area – Western Cape: Our client is looking for a Workshop Assistant to join the team.

Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• Proven technical aptitude
• Must be able to read and write
• Experience in maintenance/ handyman work
• Must be prepared to be trained in maintenance and welding
• Driver’s license will be beneficial

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Basic maintenance on tractors, spray pumps, cars, trucks, motorcycles, implements, buildings, equipment etc.
• Inventory control of tools and maintenance equipment
• Ensure tidiness of work area
• Basic welding of items such as burglar bars, metal brackets and trailers rails, etc.
• Oversee and control quality of work of cleaning teams of seasonal workers’ accommodation
• Any other related tasks that might be required of you
