Duties:

  • Preparing & Presenting Board and Audit Committee Reports
  • Financial Planning and Analysis; including Strategic Planning and Budgeting
  • Ensure systems are implemented or adjusted as the group grows
  • Ensure all financial records are kept in line with IFRS and the Companies Act as well as any other regulatory and statutory requirement there might be
  • Responsible together with technical advisors for commercial construct and implementation of various agreements
  • Responsible for safe keeping and effective management of the Groups asset base
  • Take responsibility for financial internal controls and successful completion of all financial and IT related audits
  • Evaluate the performance and provide training and development opportunities to the finance and admin staff

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

  • Matric
  • BCom Accounting
  • BCom Hounors
  • CA(SA)

Experience:

  • Completed Articles
  • 12 to 15 years’ experience
  • General ERP knowledge, specific knowledge of SAP B1
  • Ability to implement systems specific to project management, supply chain management and stock management
  • Ability to understand and interpret legal clauses that has a financial impact

Skills & Competencies:

  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise
  • Proven ability to lead a team and to mentor members of staff
  • The ability to manage stress, pressure and competing demands
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
  • The capacity to make quick but rational decisions
