Key Performance Area:

• Overall Operation and Maintenance (Breakdown & Preventative) of Machines, as well as oversight of Facilities Management and Site Security.
• Overall Management of the Maintenance Team, Engineering Contractors and Suppliers (output, quality, work-performance, timesheets, record-keeping, coaching/mentoring and accuracy)
• Management and Control of a Preventative Maintenance Plan
• Management of Engineering Buyer and Control of engineering stores (procurement of spares, stock-control, security, record keeping, stock levels)
• Planning & execution of small engineering projects & executive responsibility for medium & large projects
• Accurate Record Keeping, Document Management and Control
• Upholding Company policies and Goals
• Liasion with local authorities

Minimum Requirements:

• Trade Tested Millwright
• 5 years experience as a Maintenance Manager in a similar Manufacturing Environment
• Knowledge of Modern Manufacturing Management Principles
• Computer Literate: MS Office and Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• People Management/Leadership
• Reasoning ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions
• Effective Time Management
• Deadline driven with a sense of urgency
• Sound Mathematical Skills
• Good Analytical Skills
• Self-Motivated and able to work Independently
• High levels of personal discipline
• Good attention to Detail
