Cradock District- Eastern Cape: Our client is looking for an Agricultural Manager with ownership mentality to join the team.

Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Agricultural degree/ diploma and or Business degree/diploma
• Keen interest in agriculture
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Must have own vehicle that can travel on farm roads
• Applicant should have own office/home-office & PC
• Computer literate
• Energetic, hardworking, and self-driven individual
• Own reliable internet access is required.
• Applicant should be able to operate from Cradock as a base.
• English (written and verbal).
• Verbal communication in Afrikaans and isiXhosa required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The primary purpose of the role is to represent agriculture at meetings with stakeholders and AgriEC.
• This is a dual role with functions involving CDAU, AgriEC or both.
• Should have at least 50% of their time available to fulfil the role.
• Hours will be ad-hoc as required to accommodate meetings set up with the various stakeholders and government entities.
• The applicant should be entrepreneurial in order to earn the income they require.
• Will be required to travel to AgriEC conferences from time to time and be away from home for a few nights at a time.
• Attend all required meetings and report to the management of the association as well as to perform all administrative duties.
