Job Context
- Department: Sales
- Purpose Statement: To achieve Sales and Distribution objectives of the Company efficiently and economically, for the defined sales territory.
Job Responsibilities
- Financial: Manage Trade discounts and Trade Budgets
- Customer:
- Identifies the best distributor option by territory, and Maintains healthy and win-win
- relationships with the distributors.
- Maintain Required Distribution Standard and Service Levels of the assigned territory.
- Maintain Adequate relationship with Distributors and Trade in order to enhance overall sales
- performance of the assigned territory. Management distributors with respect to overall
- operations, infrastructure, processes, people capability.
- Managing Distributor reps /company sales reps, merchandisers
- Manage Distributor profitability and ROI.
- Build up Relationship with Trade/Retailers to Maximize the levels of Availability, Visibility,
- Assortment & Merchandising
- Internal Process/ Operations:
- Setting up the Field Management infrastructure - beat and route planning, resource deployment, channel management, of the geographic area.
- Implement strategies agreed by Management to achieve Sales Targets within the given time frame.
- Understanding the Channel Plans and develop implementation plans.
- Performance review - against action standards. Network and take actions where inputs are required from the CSR's/ DSR's wrt width and depth of availability, assortment and shelving
- Understanding competitive context and activity and channel market feed-back upward to the Brands/Marketing/Trade marketing departments
- Implement, Monitor & Evaluate all the activities agreed with the respective departments
- Plan and carry out trade marketing activities/ promotions to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales.
- Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information on timely basis.
- Responsible for collection of Bank guarantee and ensure optimal credit exposure to market/retail by distributors with in view of reducing overall risk to the organization
- Learning & Development:
- Frequent up date of Market conditions
- New Market Development
- Understanding of Customer/Shopper profile.
- Productivity optimization methods
- Range selling & reach per channel
- Competitor reaction plans.
- Implementation of marketing plans.
- Cost Analysis/ Budget control methods.
- Secondary Responsibilities:
- Handle Product Complains.
- Identifying new business opportunities.
- Identify the strengths and weaknesses of the territory in terms of: economy, population, pattern of spending etc.
- Act as an ambassador of the Company
- Be equipped with the latest product knowledge including information of competitors
- (Distribution methods, ways of improving the sales of retail and distribution management)

- Measurable Deliverable:
- Sales - achieve agreed monthly sales targets (value and volume targets)
- Distributors - management of overall performance (monitoring and evaluation of financial stability)
- Display and Merchandising - create an attraction towards impulse buying at the point of purchase as per the set guideline of the company
- Distribution - ensure availability of the product at correct all outlet base
- Administration - maintain documents accurately, in time and in order
- Public Relation - enhance compatibility with traders, and project Company image to the public at large.
- Projects and Promotions - increase the product awareness (special trade drives for visibility, availability and assortment and also to combat competition)
Additional Requirements
- Age 25 to 35 years
- Only males are allowed to apply
- Applicants who have work experience in FMCG sector with cosmetic channel will get priorities.
- Computer/ Laptop: Operating System- Microsoft office, Application- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email and Internet browsing.
- Foreign Language: Have to good in English (Writing & Speaking)
