Job Context
- Social Assistance and Rehabilitation for the Physically Vulnerable (SARPV) is a non- government, non-political, Bangladeshi organization under its Health & Nutrition program providing lifesaving health& nutrition support to the Rohingya people of Cox`s Bazar. As part of its Health & Nutrition interventions in support with UNHCR & WFP, SARPV is implementing "Integrated nutrition interventions to address malnutrition among Rohingya refugees."
- Employment Status: Contractual, until 31st July, 2023 (Renewable)
Job Responsibilities
- Objective 1: Implement project activities
- Ensure the implementation of activities defined by the Project Officer.
- Plan activities according to the expected progress of the project.
- The direct implementation of community kitchen program, in accordance with donor agreements.
- Carry out project monitoring and update project needs.
- Follow the project's progress and write relevant reports.
- Identify and inform the project officer of any problems or constraints.
- Propose solutions or improvements to ensure the smooth running of the project.
- Objective 2: Participate in coordination of the project
- Participate in meetings organized by SARPV or site management in order to share the process.
- Coordinate activities and sensitize team in the field.
- Objective 3: Manage the project's team
- Train and sensitize the daily workers, volunteers and the team members.
- Organize the teamwork to optimize the capacity of each team member.
- Objective 4: Proactively support commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity
- Read and ensure a full understanding of SARPVs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies, asking questions and/or for support when necessary.
- Implement all work-related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, taking into account the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries.
- Ensure the incorporation of gender equity principles in all policies and activities.
- Encourage the participation of all genders in meeting and on committees.
- Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.

Additional Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in relevant field. Experience in emergency context will get preference.
- Knowledge of verbal and written English and Bangla; Rohingya or local language accent
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Team-building, capacity building and training skills
- Language: Must be proficient in English and Bangla in both writing and speaking
- Excellent computer skill (Microsoft office: Word, Excel and Power point)
- Flexibility and mobility are required at any time of the program implementation.
- Competency: In Microsoft excel, word, Power Point and internet browsing for the basic communication.
